Daruma doll (8 pieces different colors)
Daruma is a Japanese traditional tumbler doll personifying Bodhidharma.
And also this is the thing that tore off the heads of schoolchildren in the film “Terrible Will of the Gods” so be careful during the rendering make sure that the Daruma-a-a-a doll does not fall.
One model:
1564 polygons
1566 peaks
Total in the scene (8 pieces):
12512 polygons
12528 peaks
Modeling: Blender
Texturing: Substance Painter
The grid is quadrangular without polygons the names of materials textures objects are English the texture paths are erased (Strip path).
UVWUnwrap using the UDIM technique (3 tile sets).
One model with different materials (Multi / Sub-object material 3 slots for each set of UDIM scans: front – 1001 face – 1002 back – 1003)
Textures 2048×2048 PNG: daruma_doll_pink_model_Diffuse.1001_front.png daruma_doll_model_ior.1002_front.png daruma_doll_gold_model_Reflection.1003_front.png and so on.
Help on working with textures when using OBJ:
If the name of the texture does not indicate the color of the model: red gold and so on then the texture is universal for all materials. Textures are added to the corresponding slot (for example “ior” in the slot “Fresnel IOR” “Glossiness” in the Glossiness slot). Textures Diffuse Color and color Reflection – when loading the Bitmap the gamma is automatic for all other textures (glossness ior normal Height) – the gamut is Override – 1.0.
VrayNormalMap – slot normal map – map Normal slot bump map – map Height.
All materials are the same only the Diffuse Color slots differ and in the case of gold (gold) the Reflection Glossness ior differ.
And as the Japanese say: Omae wa mou shindeiru! – Good luck with your renderings!
