Isola is a statement-making design-led collection consisting of a sofa armchair and matching ottomans. The range was created in collaboration between Amura London-based designer Lucy Kurrein and Heal’s; one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious furniture retailers. Lucy was briefed by Heal’s to create a beautifully rounded sofa and so found inspiration in natural landscapes such as solitary floating islands hence the name. The sweeping lines and elegant silhouette are reminiscent of the large stretches of sand you can find on a deserted beach. The voluptuous sculptural form of Isola has a natural affinity with the body and its organic form sits beautifully in large and small spaces. The Isola range uses a mixture of different The foam fillings including a luxury memory foam offering supreme comfort and support. The backrest features subtle seam detailing to emphasize its curvaceous silhouette and its generous seat is supported by refined metal legs in gun metal black. The small and large ottoman echoes the shape of the armchair and sofa creating a beautiful synergy between the pieces.
