The scene has a TurboSmooth modifier – 1 Render iters the stack is not collapsed. There is no modifier in the export file.

The pile on the towels is implemented by the displacement map. For close-ups I recommend setting Screen size: 1px in Render Setup > Performance > Displacement for medium and long-range plans this value can be increased to 2-3px.
