The scene has a TurboSmooth – 1 Render iters modifier the stack is not collapsed. There is no modifier in the export file.

The pile is implemented by the displacement map. For close shots I recommend setting Screen size: 1px in Render Setup> Performance> Displacement for medium and long shots this value can be increased to 2-3px.
