The distinctive Model 548 Table Lamp is an exercise in balance and reflection originally designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1951.In a unique composition diffused light is directed upwards towards a colored reflective screen creating a beautiful balancing act with a sophisticated light effect.Sarfatti was typically inspired by new technologies and materials exemplified by Model 548 not only in its design concept but also in the use of methacrylate in the reflector an unconventional choice of material at the time.
