Designed in conjunction with the Professor Desk the Student Desk showcases Poul Kjærholm’s deep mastery of wood and steel.Drawing on his experience in cabinet making Kjærholm designed the desks while working as a lecturer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1955. The PK52a Student Desk the smaller of the two is at once neutral and modern crafted with an oak veneer top and a black lacquered steel frame.Its versatile form means that it can serve as a dining table or a desk in versatile environments and can be purchased with or without a drawer.
