Avicennia maritime is distributed along the east coast of Africa is found in Southwest Asia grows everywhere throughout South and Southeast Asia in Australia and New Zealand.
Avicenna maritime is able to grow in the arid climate of the coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It is mainly found in the United Arab Emirates Qatar Oman and along the Red Sea coast in Yemen Saudi Arabia Egypt eastern Sudan and also in southern Iran along the coast of the Persian Gulf.
