Multi / sub-object material is applied to the fireplace and in order to change the color of the body from black to white you need to change the polygon ID of the body (this is a separate object) from 1 to 2. Initially the scene has a black fireplace.
Animation of the flame was done using the built-in 3ds max modifiers (Vol.Select Wave Noise) and tuning the controllers of these modifiers. The animation is endless. It is recommended that you enable motion blur on your camera for more realism. All previews and videos were rendered with motion blur turned on. For preview and video VRay was used.
FBX export files do not contain animations and the kind of flame in them may slightly differ from the preview.
