– Designed by Marconato and Zappa the Hippos dining table catches the eye thanks to its archetypal shape which blends the clear and regular lines of the base with the delicate oval shape of the legs. This composition gives the table a dynamic silhouette with great visual strength capable of changing from slim to solid depending on the light the surrounding space and the point from which it is observed. The different finishes available for the base of the table – from the lacquered version to the highly prized solid wood (Hippos Wood) – all enhance the craftsmanship required to produce it along with the painstaking attention to detail. The support surface is available in a range of options including glass ceramic marble and wood thereby guaranteeing the ability to adapt to any environment.
