Pleating is a technique that has its roots in a remote past. Findings and statues tell us in fact of pleated female clothes already in Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece. This trend that started from the catwalks has now also infected the world of interior which has borrowed the plissé from the world of fashion declining it according to its own language but retaining the same sophisticated and romantic character. The plissé does not only refer to bon ton images as evidenced by the iconic colors used in the palette.
