ABOUT RAINDROP The fluidity of molten glass is used perfectly to describe a shower of giant hand-blown and silvered drops raining from an unseen source. The playfulness of scale engages and delights as moving liquid is rendered permanent. Raindrop is lit from above as well as within. A series of small lamps are placed amongst the installation allowing light to reflect off the mirrored surfaces of each individually shaped droplet.
