Model optimized for rendering in 3ds max and v-ray in other programs may adjust materials and lighting SEAMOOR’s prototype came with very simplified shapes: straight legs round arms. We spent days shaping curves with a rasp. Our chairs are often strong with unusual proportions. With SEAMOOR we wanted to contribute a chair to the history of the chair: the form is completely invented but the execution is in a Scandinavian vernacular tradition with seagrass from ecologically conserved meadows. We like to drape SEAMOOR with a cozy sheep’s pelt for warmth and added comfort. The chair pictured above is White Oak with a Waxed finish.
