The graceful backrest of the Sybilla dining chair strikes the viewer at first glance.‎ Executed as if in bas-relief with swaying hollows and gentle rises its sinuous sensuality expresses an entirely up-to-theminute sense of style.‎ The backrest’s surface simultaneously soft and taut resonates with the sculptural plasticity of the metal structure creating a harmonious liaison between the generous drapery of the padding and the spareness of the elegant agile-seeming legs.‎ Pure concave and convex forms interact to create a cohesive whole unexpected yet supremely inviting.‎
